The Falcon Chalets
Rebuilt with the same character as the original lodge, our five Falcon Chalets are designed to echo a falcon poised for flight over the gorge — a nod to the rare Taita Falcon the lodge is named for. Built from brick, reed, and gauze, each chalet blends into the surrounding bush, with an open-fronted design and high-pitched roof that let the breeze off the gorge flow straight through.
Every chalet has an en-suite bathroom — open-air, so you can take in the view while you shower — plus a private balcony with two giant bean bags, ideal for an early coffee or an evening sundowner overlooking the Zambezi below. Each room has plug points and runs on solar power; WiFi isn't available in the chalets themselves but is on hand in the main dining area.

OPTION 2: BEST FOR FAMILIES OR FRIENDS
The Family Cottage
For families or groups travelling together, our Family Cottage offers more space and the option to self-cater. It has two en-suite bedrooms, a lounge with a six-seater dining table, and a sleeper couch suited to one additional guest. The kitchen comes with a stove, fridge, and basic cutlery, so you can prepare your own meals if you'd prefer — or continue to dine with us at the lodge; the choice is yours.

Swimming Pools: We have two pools to choose from — one set right on the edge of the gorge, our own version of Devil's Pool minus the queue, and a second, more family-friendly pool for those travelling with kids.
Boma & Firepit: Our outside boma overlooks the same gorge view and is the spot for an early morning coffee or a relaxed dinner under the stars.
Connectivity: WiFi is available in the main dining area; the chalets themselves are WiFi-free but have plug points for charging devices.
Power: The lodge runs on solar power throughout.
Group size: With only five chalets plus the Family Cottage, Taita Falcon stays small by design — ideal if you're after a quieter, more personal stay near the Falls.
