What is the easiest way of getting to Taita?

How to get to Taita?

The 3 options for how to get to Taita is the following:

Vic Falls Airport

Fly to Vic Falls + Airport collection + road transfer

Liv Airport

Fly to Livingstone + Airport collection + road transfer

Self Drive

Self-Drive: We will provide you will directions

Option 1

Fly to Vic Falls Airport

Fly to Vic Falls Interntional Airport. We will then arrange an airport pick up. You will then be escorted to the Zim / Zam border. Once through the border, you will be driven to Tait Falcon Lodge (11km).

Total time from Vic Falls airport to the lodge = 1hr – 1.30 min (depending on the border queues).

Option 2

Fly to Livingstone Airport

Fly to Livingstone Interntional Airport. We will then arrange an airport pick up. You will be collected and driven to Tait Falcon Lodge (11km).

Total time from Livingstone airport to the lodge = 40min.

Option 3

Drive yourselves to the lodge

The lodge is approximately 45minute drive from Livingstone and is well signposted from the main Livingstone / Victoria Falls road. *Access by road requires a high clearance vehicle as the last 11km from the tar road to the lodge is a dirt road*

Driving directions are as follows:

From the airport head towards the main town of Livingstone (5km)
Once you reach Livingstone main road (Mosi-o-Tunya), turn right.
Continue along main road through Livingstone town (9km) until you see a turnoff and sign on your left saying Taita Falcon Lodge.
From the turnoff, drive straight over the railway line and turn right at the big baobab tree.
It’s approximately 10km from here to the lodge and is well signposted through the Songwe village and indigenous forest.
